Hello

Hi, my name is Andrew Swanscott. I grew up in Sydney, Australia but now live in Melbourne, Australia. I also lived in the UK for 4 years. I have 2 kids (1 boy and 1 girl) and a black Labrador named "Rocky".

Here's some other fun facts:-> Favourite sports team: Essendon (go Bombers!). Haven't had a good run the last 10+ years though. :-(-> Favourite beer: James Squire 150 Lashes is my current favourite. When I was backpacking around Europe in my 20s, I drank a boatload of Birra Moretti. That was nice on a hot day too!-> Favourite game to play with the kids: Uno-> Toughest challenge: Completed 75 Hard in 2023. It took me 90 days to finish because I forgot to take a photo on day 14 and had to reset. Details matter!

Hobbies

So, what do I do for fun? I like Mountain Biking along bush trails and mountain tracks,
and have recently just taken up Bikepacking, to combine my love of cycling and camping.

I also enjoy algorithmic trading. I'm the host of the Better System Trader podcast, speaking to many of the worlds top traders, and achieving over 1M+ downloads in the first few years. I've published a book on trading and spoken at multiple trading events and conferences. I'm also the co-founder of algorithmic trading company Better Trader Academy.

Travel

I love to experience new things, especially travelling.
